The aim of the project is the practical application of the theoretical concept involved in the musical recording chain. These concepts will be investigated and then applied to turn a rehearsal room into a recording studio in order to make a sound recording from an engineering point of view. For that the room has been analysed and conditioned, the materials have been selected and the recording techniques have been carefully studied. The technical report has been conceived as a reference manual for other professionals to perform a similar job, providing detailed information about the whole process: isolation, conditioning, components, tools, and techniques for recording and mixing.
