Harmony and rhythm structure detection

This project aims to build an automatic system for extracting the rhymic and harmonic information from a musical audio signal. First the harmony changes are detected and their duration. With them, the tempo is inferred. Using the harmonic analysis, tonality is computed and the song is classified into a musical genre. First this is applied to symbolic music (MIDI files) and then to audio transcriptions.
